Greenwich Transfer Tours
The Greenwich Ship Tier is a significant mooring facility on the River Thames, located in the heart of Maritime Greenwich. Situated approximately five miles downstream from Tower Bridge, this deep-water mooring is the largest of its kind in central London. It is primarily used by visiting cruise ships, offering them a convenient location close to many of Greenwich's famous landmarks, including the Old Royal Naval College and the Cutty Sark. Because the Greenwich Ship Tier is a mid-river mooring, a floating pontoon dock is used, and passengers and crew are ferried to and from the shore via tender boats. This unique setup allows for the direct transfer of passengers into a historically rich area of London, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We offer comfortable and convenient private, guided transfer tours from Greenwich Ship Tier in classic London Black Cabs.
