Join me on a fascinating walking tour of London's hidden gems. Starting right from your berth in the heart of the capital, I'll show you the remains of the Roman Empire in London, dating back 2,000 years. Together, we'll see the ancient city walls, a secret Roman temple, and a Roman amphitheatre. We'll also visit sites of execution and punishment, historic churches such as Sir Christopher Wren’s St Mary-le-Bow, and even the place where Pocahontas worshipped.

Welcome to Central London

Step off your ship directly into the historic heart of London. Because your vessel docks right at the Tower Bridge Upper Mooring, you skip the long motorway transfers and start your London adventure immediately. You’ll be met at the pier by my colleague, driver Shane Healy—who is also a qualified Westminster Guide—ready to assist you from the moment you step ashore.

You’ll then head to the start point to meet me, Lee Cooper, as we begin our exploration of the City's historic streets. Although this is primarily a walking tour with me, we have the unique advantage of having Shane and his private Black Cab remain on hand throughout our time together. This provides total peace of mind and flexibility; you can hop into the cab for a quick rest between sights, let us whisk you away to a landmark slightly further afield, or easily navigate areas where steps and uneven pavement might pose a challenge. Whether you choose to follow my tailored route or customise your own, Shane and I are your ultimate support team right where you need us.

Let's Explore London's Hidden Gems

Because Tower Bridge Mooring sits right on the doorstep of the ancient Square Mile, we’re perfectly positioned to explore London off the beaten path. I'll guide you through narrow medieval streets and secret alleyways that most tourists miss. I'll share my favorite stories and legends about the City, and you'll learn about its rich 2,000-year history. I can even take you to see surviving stones from the old London Bridge and a section of wooden Roman wharf, believed to date from 75 AD.

We will start our exploration near the City with a panoramic view from the top of an office building. Then, I'll show you some of the City's most interesting historic pubs, where we can pause to enjoy a drink or two.

The Victorian entrance and New Moon pub.

I'll also show you iconic film locations from the Harry Potter movies, such as the wonderfully ornate Leadenhall Market—used for filming Diagon Alley in the first film. We'll explore some of my personal favorite sights as well, such as St Bride’s Church, fondly referred to as the ‘Journalists' Church’ due to its location on Fleet Street, the historic home of national newspapers. I'll tell you all about metal coffins, wedding cake architecture, and the Founding Fathers of the United States.

If you fancy a break or a coffee en route, we can stop at a local cafe while I share a few more fascinating facts and stories about the hidden gems of London.
